Mountain-biking through the Marecchia Valley

Paesaggio dell'Alta Valmarecchia visto dal borgo di Bascio Paesaggio dell'Alta Valmarecchia visto dal borgo di Bascio
The Upper Marecchia Valley is a true paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Most of all, it offers exciting opportunities for mountain-bikers with its network of trails of various levels of difficulty adapted to the abilities of the novice rider as well as more experienced bikers.

The valley, circumscribed by the Foglia and Marecchia rivers, extends over the hills between the Adriatic Sea and the Central Apennines on the border between Romagna, the Marches, Tuscany and the Republic of San Marino.

The area has a wealth of natural and artistic beauty, often located within protected nature zones and enchanting natural parks, and boasts a thriving natural landscape. Dense woods are home to rare fauna that find the environmental conditions needed to survive, and the landscape is punctuated by the fortresses typical of the Montefeltro area, from the towers of which the view sweeps to the horizon, all the way down to the sea.
